The experience

Teaching English 2-4 hours a day. By introducing children to the world of English and exposing them to stories, I hope to ignite a spark within them. I want them to see beyond their current circumstances and envision a future filled with possibilities. We can empower them to dream big, work hard, and achieve their goals.

We offer a private room, three meals daily, and other benefits!

What you offer

12 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 20 Per week

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 45 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Indonesia

Travel insurance

Program Details

Our schedule is every Wednesday and Saturday at 2 pm and 4 pm, with one hour allocated for teaching. The teacher will accompany you, and we can discuss the teaching material before the class starts.

Activities & Shift

In our village, surrounded by lush rice fields and steeped in rich culture, there's a wealth of knowledge and insight to draw from. From the hardworking villagers tending to their crops to the vibrant traditions and customs that shape our community, there's no shortage of inspiration to be found.

Please wear respectful clothing, as this village is surrounded by religious areas. Do not wear shorts when going outside or teaching
