The experience
Teach English at one of our partner language centers or schools in Quang Binh, Vietnam and make a positive social impact on the lives of children! Program Details
Catalyst for Change Vietnam (C4C) is a not for profit organization that aids rural children and disadvantaged women through educational, vocational, and mental health support programs.
The Teach for Change program aims to provide language instruction (specifically English and German) to learners of all ages regardless of their background, contributing to reducing educational inequality in Vietnam. This is because we believe that this issue happens not only in the countryside but even children in the big cities. The lack of quality English instruction for less advantaged learners limits their potential. Without exposure to diverse cultures, their worldview stays narrow, impacting their opportunities to become successful and fulfilled in life.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers will work for a maximum of 18 hours per week teaching English in the classroom to children who range from ages 4-16. While their specific schedule depends on the post location, all volunteers are given a curriculum, classroom resources, and pre-departure workshop.
