The experience

I am a retired teacher and translator. I am looking for people to help me. I have multiple sclerosis and use a wheelchair. I am vegan and non-smoker. I live in Quebec Canada. I speak French, English, and Spanish.


What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Elderly Care: Assisting and spending time with the elderly.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.


What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent Spanish

Between 18 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

I need help getting me into bed and out of bed. I need help in general care giving tasks, also to feed me and clean the house. Priority is given to male candidates.


Rules

The person must be a non-smoker and accept vegan food during their stay here. He has to have the strength and patience required to accomplish these tasks. One must be ready to help me also during the night.
