It was my second time with a 3-month gap, a different group, different position (this time in the kitchen) and I must say that I could come back again. I wanna say thank you to Odro for all the kindness and respect during the shifts. If you're traveling and thinking about going back, don't you think twice.

KMC was a life changing experience due to the fact that meeting other volunteers is really easy and you have the opportunity to create great friendships, the place feels like a calm retreat from everything and the staff are always so kind and welcoming. I hope to visit the project again and work alongside the team once again. As for the food and accommodation they were very good, I never felt uncomfortable or hungry.

I had the most beautiful stay at MKMC and would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience home away from home. i worked in the cafe (so many cute dogs) and the team was lovely, however the days off arent on the weekends and can be randomly spread out through out the week - just something to keep in mind if you're planning any day trips. ive made the best memories and met the best people, thankyou!!

My experience at the project was incredible. The place is beautiful and peaceful and I could hear the sound of the leaves dancing when the wind was blowing. The temple is a place that stands out in my mind, with free meditations for volunteers. How wonderful it was to have this experience! The whole team in the Art Studio was fantastic and work in there was like a summer course. A special mention to Lupe, who patiently taught me.

It was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't ask for better. Nice environment, everyone is very kind and always helpful. The perfect place to immerse yourself in nature, meditate and make connections with people from all over the world.

This was a great experience. It's was the perfect place to focus on the project and being surrounded by the beautiful lake & nature. I met so many wonderful friendly people here. The work/accommodation was a reasonable trade. I would definitely come back again.

I loved the time I got to spend at this the project center. My favorite part was the people I got to know and the stories they shared. I worked at the art studio which was fun and educational and didn't feel like work. Additionally, the food was delicious and different almost every day. Only the breakfast was always the same and sweet. Also, the nature is a real plus. The woods surrounding the center are great for relaxing walks or running and the Lake District National Park is just 45 minutes away by bus. Overall this was the best choice for my first volunteering experience.

I am really grateful for my experience at the project temple. Because I learned a lot about myself and all volunteers and residents. There was room for inner work, especially because my time there coincided with a weekend retreat of the project Ocean of Peace. Therefore I could deepen my the project practise. Besides. another wonderful gift is all the people there and all the volunteers. Learning about ways in which kindness is shared is beautiful. And to be honoust is the cornerstone of most memories and travel and life experience. Thank you so much.

This the project has been my first volunteering experience. I was positively surprised by how friendly and welcoming the other volunteers were. I met so many amazing people, created long-lasting friendships & shared stories while also being able to explore the beauty of the Lake District. Despite applying for Cafe & Art studio, I was put into Household (cleaning, laundry etc.) Working hours were from 9am to 5pm with tea and lunch break in between. The hours were respected and the work was communicated & explained very well. Overall, I'd recommend this experience to everyone!
