Volunteering at Buddhist Centre
The experience
Volunteering at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre (Manjushri KMC) offers an opportunity to experience first-hand the Buddhist way of life within a vibrant, international community.
There are many ways in which you can help. For example, serving in the cafe, helping in household, assisting in the kitchen, helping in the Art Studio, working in the grounds (gardening) or joining a renovation project for the building.

Program Details
Our program's purpose is that individuals get to experience life in a Buddhist centre, dedicated to World Peace. Being a volunteer at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre is a great opportunity to connect with an international community, and to practice meditation.
Volunteers are also welcome to attend all events we have, as long as they're outside the working hours.
Activities & Shift
Our program starts officially on Sunday with meet & greet, where we show the volunteers around and guide them to their dorms, there's dinner available at 6.30pm.
The actual work starts the next day, on Monday at 9am. We, then, show the volunteers where they will work for the week.
The volunteering program is generally from Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm (6-hour work/day), and 2-hour break during work. In total 30 hours of volunteering per week. Weekends are off.
Please be aware that some areas, like the cafe, have a different schedule, but it is never more than 30 hours per week.
