If you want to immerse your self in an Italian lifestyle, this place is for you. The work is hard but it can be rewarding to see the progress you're helping out with. The area it's s little remote but you can do some exploring if you're willing to walk a bit, and if you're flexible the host will offer you a ride to town when they are available. Meals are great, hours are respected and they are flexible about the shifts/time off. the home is a very sweet person, she makes sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. Ricardo is a guy of few words, but very nice, polite and patient.

I started my trip with my stay at Angela's and I could not ask for a better stay. I did not speak a word Italian and Angela only can say a few words in English. But you are able to work things out and have some good laughs with her. She always try's her best to make to make you feel like home, offers you amazing food and chances of getting to know the Dolomiten. Work was never more than the hours you made out before and never to much work. I've met the best people while staying there and made some beautiful experiences and memories. And the nature there is beautiful!

This was my first time volunteering and it couldn't have been better. Angela made me feel like a member of the family from day one. She was always very nice, generous and had lots of patience with me. I met great people here and the working hours were respected. I felt very welcome and was so sad when I left. I would definitely recommend this place!

My first volunteer job couldn't be better. Angela was like a mother, she is a wonderful and generous person, and an excellent cooker (she prepares all the breakfast dishes at the B&B which are delicious). We had the best food ever available. The place is beautiful and perfect for who love nature. Angela gave me lots of tips on what to do in my free time. The tasks are basic and everyone can do it. Working hours are respected. It's the perfect place to learn or practice some Italian. Thank you so much for these wonderful days I spent with you Angela, Ricardo, Giuseppe and others volunteers!

My first volunteering experience could not have gone better than the guest house. I felt at home, Angela and her nice family always treated me like one of them. During the workday you will normally help at breakfast, clean tables, wash dishes and continue with the cleaning and tidying of the rooms. It is not a difficult job, maybe at first it seems a little heavy but it's just a matter of getting into the rhythm. If you want to get into the Italian culture, language and kitchen, here is your place. I'm very grateful for everything, grazie Angela, Ricardo, Gloria and Giorgia! È stato un piacere :)

Rosy per me sei stata come una manna dal cielo!!! Sono stata molto fortunata ad accoglierti nella mia casa in questo momento dopo una terribile esperienza con altri volontari. Sei una ragazza eccezionale emani pace e tranquillità. Hai collaborato nel migliore dei modi. Spero tanto di ospitarti in Sicilia, sarai un ospite d' onore ti farò mangiare tutte le prelibatezze della mia isola e ti farò fare il bagno nelle baie più belle della sicilia. Spero che la vita ti riservi il meglio.

I felt comfortable with Angela and her family, they cook real Italian food 🥰 tasks are not easy at the beginning, at least in my personal case I was pretty new doing beds and doing a deep clean as a guest house needs, they have hight cleaning standards, I learned and I had fun but isn't too easy 😅 also because the language, if you take this adventure be aware that you'll need a basic Italian 😅 it's easy to misunderstand. This adventure is only in Italian, they speak just a lil English. I felt great bc I wanted to learn Italian.

The host was a warm & friendly person but at times she was being rude & lacking in empathy when giving comments/ instructions for work. She was expecting professional cleaning standards from Day 2. I was feeling overworked with the tasks given & the time required to complete them. Daiano was a beautiful place to be with nature but the drawback was transportation. Traveling out was tough & the host isn't helpful in terms of rides. The host expects help outside of working hours & did not communicate. Poor Wifi. A long stay is not my recommendation, as its lacks activities or sightseeing.

At the begining Angela was nice but she started to treat me like a maid, constantly she repeated that cooking after work hours was not her responsability and make us feel like we were eating for free. The work load is not proportional for the "food" they give (left overs) and the husband will make you feel uncomfortable when you want to take water. I literally scape, the only good thing of the experience was the other volunteers that I met there. The place is amazing but the transportation system is not great and they don't know about hospitality so they won't give you a ride if you need it:)

Ciao, non ho voluto mettere una recensione perché sei invalutabile. Hai accettato un scambio volontariato in cambio di soggiorno con vitto e alloggio, sapevi che dovevi aiutare in cucina con la casa e con hotel. Pulire la tua camera penso che l'avrai fatto nella tua vita, comunque se ti dico di rifare i letti pulire i vetri e spolverare sugli armadi non penso che serva tanta esperienza. Sono andata a controllare la camera 26 ho aperto la tenda e c'era un'arancia spiaccicata sul vetro, dici che sia corretto che un cliente trovi sporco? Penso che a te non piacerebbe pagare e trovare sporco, non serve essere professionisti per pulire dei vetri. Sono passata dalla camera 10 e c'era una borsa grande lasciata dai clienti sull'armadio .....significa o che non sei in grado o non te ne frega niente di svolgere i tuoi compiti bene. Nel vostro giorno di riposo siete andate a Venezia dicendo che alla sera rientravate, non siete rientrate e non avete neanche avvisato. La mattina seguente vi ho scritto e non mi avete risposto sino alle 17 del pomeriggio. Sapevate che l'ultimo bus era alle 20.10 ma avete fatto in modo di perderlo. Io stavo male avevo la febbre e di certo non potevo farmi 60km per venirvi a prendere. Siete arrivate lo stesso a casa. Non potete dire sia tu che Rubena che non sono disponibile a darvi un passaggio perché sono venuta a prenderti in stazione e ti avrei riportata in stazione con la tua valigia se non fossi scappata via di notte senza salutare. La dispensa era sempre disponibile con tanto cibo, di certo avete mangiato una o due volte avanzi perché non sai cucinare o non avevi voglia di cucinare. Se l' host prepara la cena, cucina elaborata che richiede del tempo si sporcano tante pentole penso che sia il minimo aiutare a sparecchiare e mettere i piatti in lavastoviglie. Ho dovuto dirtelo perché ti sei alzata più volte e hai lasciato il piatto sporco li. Chi te lo doveva pulire?Sicuramente la lingua non ha aiutato, scusami se hai pensato che ti trattassi da cameriera, ho solo cercato di farti capire che i clienti hanno diritto ad una camera pulita ed il tuo compito era quello. Tutti gli altri volontari hanno riassettato le camere in tempi molto brevi rispetto ai tuoi, anche loro non professionisti. Sei andata via lasciando la camera sporca con le lenzuola sporche nel letto, pensi che il prossimo volontario sia contento di trovare una camera ed il bagno in quelle condizioni? Comunque prima di intraprendere un viaggio del genere è meglio mettere in chiaro le proprie capacità.

Una gran experiencia para conocer vivir una auténtica experiencia siciliana, la casa y Riccardo fuero muy hospitalarios, la comida muy rica y se encargaron de que me sienta cómodo, el trabajo es físico pero nada demasiado exigente, recomiendo si quieres pasar unos dias en sicilia

La casa fue un amor con nosotros desde el primer momento, sin embargo la experiencia está más orientada a hombres desde mi punto de vista. Durante nuestra estadía yo pude colaborar con la casa en la cocina y orden del hogar pero mi pareja hizo el trabajo pesado.
