At the eco village I felt at home, Yariv, Brenda and Liam are lovely people and they made me feel welcomed. Yariv and his family are very committed to making you have the best experience possible, always asking if everything was ok or if there was something needed. They live in a beautiful place with a lot of animals, big lands and a pool, the perfect place if you are searching for a relaxing time and immerse yourself in your thoughts. I spent 3 weeks there in the summer season helping them with what were needed: cleaning the pool, pruning the trees, gardening and helping with the animals.

The eco village is a place to disconnect from the outside world and connect with the Nature. The place that Yariv, Brenda and Liam had build here is beautiful. They are very open, flexible and kind, always asking if everything is fine or what do we need. The food is amazing and they are always trying to make You feel comfortable with the tasks. I had a really good time there ✨

I feel very grateful to have met Yariv and Brenda and to be able to be part of their project. I feel that the eco village is a place where I will always be welcome. The land allowed me to connect deeply with nature. Yariv taught me what it is like to live in the countryside, to be self-sufficient, generous, sensitive and respectful of animals and the environment. Also I met other volunteers, Kona and Tere, with whom I worked as a team and exchanged cultures. I recommend living something like this to open your mind and your heart and above all to transfer this mindset wherever you go.

Very good experience, the hosts, Yariv and Brenda, were very good to me, very good people, pleasant and always appreciative of our daily work. Our place to sleep was super good and the food even better. The schedule we had established for work hours was always met and we could occupy the facilities during free hours. We never lacked anything to eat and we could also manage a trip to the supermarket. The place is a paradise, 100% recommended for future volunteers.

My experience at the eco village was amazing! Yariv and Brenda are super kind and loving people, always with a good energy and sense of humor. They were always flexible with the tasks and made sure we had everything we needed. The place is so beautiful and peaceful. The work sometimes can be hard considering you will spend four and a half hours working in the morning and it can be too hot or tiring If you are not used to it. If you are willing to learn new things it will be totally worth it. I absolutely recomend the eco village if you want to conect with nature and yourself ❤️

Yariv and Brenda are two great people. They made me feel welcome and were always grateful for the work done. The working hours were exactly as described on the site and I was able to try different jobs and manage them individually. Yariv trusts people a lot and I really liked his method of approaching us volunteers. Brenda's food was exquisite and we ate healthy food partly from their garden and for dinner, which we cooked ourselves, they were always careful to ask us if we needed any additional food in the pantry. If I find myself in Portugal in the future I will definitely visit them! Thanks!

My experience in the eco village was so great, the land and the nature are awesome! I was there for three weeks and I felt like home. Yariv and Brenda are sunny, kind and caring. They are very helpful and comprehensive for anything you need. The food is just amazing. The jobs to be done are varied and sometimes you can choose what you prefer to do: gardening, alpaca care or building and repairing. Yariv trusts a lot and leave you the freedom and responsibility to do the job in your own way. Absolutely a really good experience!

They offer amazing lunch, prepared by Brenda. Other meals you cook in the volunteer kitchen. In the freetime you can hang out at the pool. The place is beautiful but remote so bring books, hobbys or a car. We worked 5h a day and only got Sunday off. After leaving found out they ask for 25h not 30h, which is upsetting and unfair. The work is physicaly demanding and it gets very hot. Mainly we spent time cementing areas around the pool. Also we did weeding and random maintenance around the land. To me it does not feel like a fair exchange and these tasks and hours should not be volunteer work.

It was my first experience in Worldpackers and it couldn't have been better! Yariv and Brenda are wonderful people and in a few weeks I already felt like part of the family. Don't wait only for chill; the farm works sometimes are hard, but if you are interested in learning there is no one better than Yariv to teach. Their advice goes far beyond tasks and are life advices from an evolved spirit. Delicious food, lovely animals (cabras locas!) and amazing energy. Everyone should stay a few days at the eco village :)
