I had the best time in Tagounite! Karim was amazing. He did such a great job looking after all the volunteers, he is kind enthusiastic and hardworking. If anyone wanted anything, he would go the extra mile to make it happen. I am very grateful to have met him and the other volunteers. We all got along very well and had the best time together. I ended this trip with great memories and friends. I would recommend this to anyone thinking about coming to Morocco!

Karim's project is a true immersion in Moroccan culture! The main goal of the project consists in building a new house about 30 min walk from the main town, Tagounite. Mud bricks is the everyday work, and with the other volunteers (usually between 10+ people) the work turns into a easygoing and fun interaction. The meals are traditional and delicious. There's no wifi or electricity in the project facility, so we usually go once a day to town at the host's flat to charge phones and etc. This is an amazing volunteering that's gonna remind you how good a simple lifestyle can still be!

I really enjoyable to volunteer here with Karim also with many many friends from different cultures. Even though I stayed here only one week but what the love and experience bring me are longer than it. The heavy rain ruined houses I felt so sad . So they really need more people come there to build their houses.

Staying with Karim and Younes was more then just volunteering, it was finding our Moroccan family. It was a true pleasure to stay with them and the other volunteers who were also great. The place felt like home we could do whatever we wanted and Karim always made sure we felt at home. We also really got to experience real Moroccan culture, which was great. I would really recommend pleople to go there and also become a part of the family. Thankyou Monsieur tranquille and don't forget to relax max!

I had an amazing two weeks with Karin in Tagounite. The work is not too hard and the hours are easy with heaps of spare time to explore the local area and relax. The project is enjoyable and will be awesome to see once it is finished. The food provided was top tier and I never found myself hungry or in need of anything at all as Karim was always quick to help you if you needed anything at all. They are also very open to doing day trips into the sand dunes which was a great time. I won't forgot the many nights spent talking and sleeping under the starts. Relaxxx maxx

Both Youness and Karim are wonderful people. As soon as you arrive, you will feel truly welcomed. The village itself is a charming place, you can easily feel and see everyday's life of Tagounite people. The job itself is not hard as it might look, moreover it's fun and interesting. During the day, me and other volunteers spent time playing cards, talking and cooking meals together. We had a great time during our trips to swimming pool or to watch the sunset on the dunes as well. I made great friends here and I hope those memories will stay with me for live. Once again, thank you for all 🫶

Karim and Yonas are the best people ever. They make you feel at home the very first second you step into their place. They always have several volunteers at the time (as they deserve) so you will be able to meet many people from around the world and make great friends. Karim never lets you miss anything and provide everything you need, he's ready to help with any necessity. The work is easy and relaxed. I strongly recommend this host over the other ones in the area, it's the best one. Thank you for everything guys! ❤️

Youness and Abdul are extremely kind and welcoming. I was made to feel like family from the very beginning. They both ensured I had the best experience possible. If I mentioned something I was interested in doing or seeing, they immediately went to work to provide that for me. I will treasure the nights spent playing cards after a delicious tajine, the motorbike rides to the dunes or garden, and playing in the mud (building bricks). I have never felt more connected to Morocco than on this project with these lovely hosts! In the infamous words of Abdul, "Max relax. Goooood experience" <3

It's hard to find words to describe this fantastic experience! I spent a really great time with Youness and his cousin Karim and I enjoyed every single part of the whole volunteering experience. The work is pretty easy, the shifts are perfectly respected and the rest of the time is just relaxing and sharing beautiful moments, in Berber style :) This experience has been life changing for me and I will keep the memories with me for a long time. I recommend this experience to anyone!!

When applying to some of the hosts here in Tagounite, it is a possibility that you will mostly be with a different host. But other than that my experience with my host and the other hosts was incredible, lots of adventures in the deserts and dunes. As well as language lessons. I learned how to cook in the desert with fire, and how to cook traditional food in the home. it is a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere within the home. Overall it was a GOOD EXPERIENCE :)
