Program Details

Hi, I'm Frank, and I'm creating a jungle retreat to embrace a simple, natural, and sustainable way of life. Located one hour from the city of Tarapoto in the San Martín region, this project focuses on sustainability and self-sufficiency through methods like syntropic agriculture and permaculture.

The vision is to share knowledge, cultivate meaningful connections, and live in harmony with nature. This opportunity goes beyond the typical exchange – it’s for those who are passionate about contributing to the project and seeking a deeper, more transformative experience.

Here, you’ll live surrounded by the jungle, engaging in activities like carpentry, bioconstruction, gardening, cooking, and exploring nature through hikes to waterfalls, bonfires, and moments of connection, cooking together and sharing authentic flavors in the heart of nature.

Activities & Shift

If you're interested in joining this experience and contributing, we warmly welcome you! Living surrounded by nature is rewarding, and here we share this space consciously.

As a self-managed project, the activities are carried out consciously, based on the priorities and needs of the moment. We encourage participation in various areas, such as:

Bioconstruction (using natural materials like bamboo, wood, stone, clay, sand, etc.)

Carpentry (working with bamboo or local woods)

Maintenance and improvement of the place (cleaning and repairs)

Cooking and dishwashing (generally with vegetarian meals)

Cutting and collecting firewood

Collecting water

Garden care and improvement (planting, weeding, watering)

Maintaining order and cleanliness

Language exchange

Renewable energy

Sharing ideas and information

Rules

The most important thing for the project is to practice values such as respect, trust, truth, and practice good communication between everyone.
