Help us teaching Arts and languages to support school dropout girls in India


The experience

As an international volunteer, your role will involve empowering school dropout girls in Tamil Nadu, India. You will facilitate skill workshops, and mentorship programs, advocate for education, and collaborate with local organizations to uplift and reintegrate girls into formal education or vocational training in Cuddalore district. Additionally, you will also be helping us with art, language, and social work activities.


What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 200 One time

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: To secure your commitment and responsibility for the upcoming volunteer work, we kindly request an advance deposit of Euro 200. This amount will be fully refunded upon the successful completion of your assigned tasks. Thank you for your understanding and dedication to this cause.

Program Details

This program aims to empower school dropout girls in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. Activities & Shift

Activities & Shifts for "Empowerment of School Dropout Girls" Program (Every Day, Evening 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM):

4:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Arrival and Preparation:

Volunteers arrive and set up for the evening activities.
Review the day's agenda and ensure all materials are ready.
4:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Skill Development Workshops:

Conduct interactive workshops focusing on practical skills.
Rotate through topics such as vocational skills, literacy, and personal development.
5:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Mentorship Sessions:

Engage in one-on-one or group mentorship with the girls.
Provide guidance, and support, and discuss personal and educational challenges.
5:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Advocacy and Outreach:

Organize awareness sessions within the community.
Advocate for the importance of girls' education and available support services.
6:00 PM - 6:30 PM: Collaboration Meetings:
