The experience

We are currently developing another hotel. For this reason, we are seeking a volunteer who can assist with a wide range of tasks, including repairs, painting, cleaning, gardening, demolition work, assembling items, and other general maintenance duties. When needed, the volunteer will also help with room cleaning and breakfast service.
Both hotels are located in different areas of Amboise, but each is situated within the town center.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Over 20 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

The volunteer needs to be a person willing to undertake any type of activity, who doesn't mind working outdoors in winter weather, and who is detail-oriented in the tasks they perform

Both hotels are located in different areas of Amboise, but each is situated within the town center. We are looking for someone flexible, hands-on, and willing to help with any task that may arise.
