The hostel was a very welcoming space with great people from all over. A sociable environment with many opportunities to meet locals and explore the city. The work hours and days off are respected. Would definitely recommend!

I had a great time at the hostel. I did the hostel shift and can safely say it's the most fun I've had while working anywhere. The shift is normally either 9pm-1am or 10pm-2am, and you get very generous discounts at the hostel. Some previous reviews suggested the staff were hard to get to know but that is untrue, they were so kind and friendly and loved chatting to the volunteers. The volunteer room is great. There is only 1 shower for up to 10 volunteers which is not ideal but manageable. Bruges is amazing, I recommend this experience 100%

Unforgettable experience! The work is light and well organized, with lots of free time to explore Bruges, visit other cities, or get lost by bike in its beautiful streets. I met amazing people that I will always keep in my heart. Every day was a perfect mix of smiles, talks, and unforgettable moments. The place is friendly, the fun is guaranteed, and the staff is simply fantastic: kind, helpful, and full of energy. I truly recommend this experience with all my heart!

Staying at the hostel felt like living in a movie and the month I spent here more like a little eternity because so many great things happened. The staff is absolutely amazing and overly generous and the work at breakfast was so relaxed and just fun, it honestly didn't feel like work. The appartement for the volunteers is really good and starts to feel like a home very quickly, just as the hostel and the beautiful area of Bruge where the hostel is situated. You get loads of free time and really really funny evenings - I can really only recommend coming to the hostel!!

Being a volunteer in the hostel was one of the best experiences i've ever have. There are 2 different shifts (breakfast 4h or night the hostel 4h), both are easy and funny. Furthermore you have 50% discount in the hostel and they try to give some money to do groceries for the volunteer's house. It's a really nice experience if you want to meet people and have fun because all the staff is unbelievable. I really felt those people like my family.

This was my first time doing a volunteer exchange and I'm so happy I chose to do it at the hostel. The people really made the place and every day was its own adventure. Breakfast shift allowed me to be productive for 4 simple hours each morning and then have my entire day to explore both Bruges and the surrounding areas in Belgium. Super recommend!

The hostel is a great place to volunteer and to see Belgium. the hostel is in a great location, and Bruges is a really charming and walkable city. The staff are very kind and helpful. The schedule is excellent because you have free time in the day and night, so there is time to see the city. The tasks were not difficult and as stated ahead of time, and the hours and days off are totally respected. I volunteered for painting, and there was staff available to help. I would highly recommend this amazing experience!

We stayed in the hostel for 3.5 weeks and we totally enjoyed our stay. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, so are the other volunteers. The work is simple and not exhausting at all, we had to do the breakfast which was actually fun and they have an amazing breakfast buffet. Because of the short shifts you have a lot of time to visit Brugge and its surroundings. Brugge is lovely and totally caught us and there is always something going on, at least from our experience. But our favourite was definitely karaoke night every Wednesday, an event you should not skip.
