Very good experience. You teach 1 hour in the morning and 1 in the afternoon to a small class of 6 students. They are all lovely, clever and with good English. You have plenty of time for reading, writing, playing piano or guitar or go for a walk in the countryside. Or you can enjoy playing with the kindergarden students, beautiful the schoolsmiles. I was very lucky to be there during TET, I got the opportunity to learn a lot about their traditions. All the teachers were helpful and kind. And Judy the host is an amazing talented person.

I had an unforgettable experience at the schoolHome School! The accommodations were affordable and impeccably clean, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The school has excellent facilities, and the teachers were warm and welcoming as well as other volunteers. Their dedication and strong work ethics were evident in everything they did. I especially loved their play-based teaching approach, which made learning both fun and effective. Also, the kids were really friendly and I enjoyed my time with them. Highly recommended!

I had such a wonderful time volunteering at the schoolFarmschool! Judy, Mrs. Chi, & everyone there made me feel welcome immediately - I wish I got to stay longer than 1 week. The kids are all friendly & willing to learn with the teaching schedule only for 1-2 hours/day too. I love that the school focuses on a more progressive, well rounded education with cooking classes, nature walks, & lots of playtime. I got to spend time with locals, make new friends, and have fun with the kids. What a memorable & fulfilling experience. Miss everyone there already! ☺️

My experience at the schoolwas remarkable! As a teacher valuing gradual release and play-based learning, I foundthe school's approach aligned with my philosophy. They follow gradual release, moving from explicit instruction to guided practice and independent learning, where students are in control of learning overall empowering students. the school's play-based activities developed students social, emotional, and cognitive skills. the schoolalso emphasises hands-on learning, like growing food, cooking, as well as sports. The peacefulthe school setting fosters creativity and inclusivity. Highly recommended! 🌟

Great experience ! Here you will discover a school who is opened-minded and where the kids practice a lot rather than just get some theories. The teachers are really nice and eager to learn you about the way this school wants to educate the kids. The kids are also lovely. You will have to assist Judy during the English lessons. You will have some free time at school so don't hesitate to explore the areas with a bike or read, draw etc..

Volunteering at the school was an absolutely wonderful experience. The children were incredibly kind, joyful, and deeply appreciative. We had the opportunity to actively contribute to the English lessons, ensuring that there was never a moment of boredom. The long lunch breaks provided a perfect balance to the day. The teachers were equally kind and always attentive, going above and beyond to offer any assistance we needed. In addition to teaching, we engaged in various activities with the children, such as baking, walking through the scenic countryside, and singing together.

I had an amazing experience! Judy is a great teacher and a welcoming host. The students you'll be working with are between 8 and 11 years old. The school follows a hands-on approach to learning, and you'll get to assist in various teaching activities where students learn in a fun and engaging way. You will also have the opportunity to play with the younger children, which makes it a lot of fun. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to immerse themselves in Vietnamese culture.
