The experience

We need someone to support our overall daily activities in the hostel, from Kitchen help, Reception assistance, Night Shift assistance, Renovation, Painting, Housekeeping, Cleaning. The area of help will depend on the need at the time.

We might need help with night shift sometimes, but this will be discussed in advance :)


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pub Crawls: Be a part of our pub crawls at local bars!

Intermediate English or Intermediate German

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

The duties includes cleaning of common areas like conferences rooms, stairs, guest kitchen, bed making, rooms when it’s needed.
Help in Reception assisting the receptionist on site with check in, sales in Bar, refills of food and drinks.
Small laundry of kitchen, organization of delivery laundry in storage rooms and house keeping closets.

Rules

The person will be provided with a bed in a 4 or 6-person shared dorm. The main house rules it´s not guest overnight in a shared dorm and quiet time in the building between 22:00 and 6:00.

We only will proceed applications within 1 to 1.5 months in advance.
You have to be legal in EU, we don´t offer documents.
We offer a bed in mix dorm, depending on number of volunteers could be 1 to 6 persons. Minimum stay 18 days, not exceptions.
Breakfast available for staff at 10:00 and dinner after groups.
Quiet time in building from 22:00 to 06:00/ Bar and reception open 24/7.

For you to be able to volunteer with us, we need the following from you:

- Scanned ID Card
- Scanned Health Insurance
- Signed agreement document provided by us
