The experience

We are looking for ambassadors who can help us in community management and brand awareness, plus a little bit of chores around the hostel.

Socialer Coliving & Coworking Space offers dorm rooms, private rooms, and workspace for travelling digital nomads; on top of that, we host internal and external events for both guests and local community, such as workshops, outings, meetups.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 18 and 45 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Thailand

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

As an ambassador, you will enjoy free accommodation in one of our dorm rooms staying with other guests for at least 2 weeks. Your main role is to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere in the house by greeting, engaging guests, promoting our events, and help with simple chores assigned by management.

Activities & Shift

Must-dos:
1. Proactively strike conversations with guests to make them feel welcomed. Organise outings or meals at least twice a week with minimum 1 other person, the more the better. Do 1 feature story of a guest every week (will explain that later).
2. Help to prepare scheduled events like dinners & workshops and invite guests to attend. Take TONS of photos and videos of casual gatherings & events.
3. Work closely with the management on simple operational tasks such as keeping the place tidy, assisting guests if they have questions, checking on the cleaners' work.
4. Post content on your own social media mentioning our business. Share all relevant photos & videos for us to post on our accounts.

Big Plus:
1. Take high-quality photos/videos for us with proper camera/drones.
2. Host & be the speaker of a workshop on your expertise topic, e.g. marketing, mental health, yoga... etc.

Rules

1. Follow local laws & regulations, you're responsible for your own safety.
2. Follow other house rules like taking off shoes on guest room floors, keep a low volume after 22:00, only eat & drink sugary drinks in the dining area, no smoking/vaping in door...etc. Be a good role model to other guests.
3. We sign a Ambassador Agreement with every volunteer.
