The hostel was very respectful and made me feel comfortable as a solo female traveller.If you are coming to see the village, the experience is for you.But for teaching kids,it is not planned well.In my 6 days I taught only for 6 hours to different kids, there was no program/curriculum,when different volunteers came we didn't know what to do as 2 teachers.Overall, it felt like 'teaching' was a way to attract guests who pay. The house was comfortable, the food was tasty but the portions (vegetarian) were very small.It's 70€ for the desert experience in the photos (optional),but it was very fun.

Compared to other hosts the relationship felt more like a paying guest and host relationship (10€/day we found a lot). Important: The photos are all from tours(not from the home you stay in)which he really wants you to do with him -> let's you feel like a tourist. We did enjoy our time at redouanes place. He is welcoming and cares about your well-being. During our stay we taught children of the village, which was very nice but wasnt agreed on beforehand. the hostel also gave us a tour around the village and showed us the stars, which was fun. The cooking of his wife Hachar was immaculate.

Its our mistake we did accept you and welcoming you :( even you did read evrything on the profile obout the price 10€ a day olso we had convestaion on whatsap about the tour price all was very clear befor you came)
we did give you olways more food
And we didant charge for you the segend cleaning of wach machin because you siad you was on (zagora tagounit samthing) you said there was no raning whater olso no shower no conexion the clothes you bring to clean here was very dirty

Please be aware that is NOT a real berber house or something if you're looking for a desert experience , it's morestly like a travel agent, the pictures of profiles is a tour , it's not the place will you stay, during my stayd his place at beginning the host is friendly but after when I refused when his attempt to sell to me some travel package something like 800 dilharms to desert or give some gasoline money to take you somewhere or even though try to sell alcohol brevege, I said no above all of that then he got unfriendly attitude, also beside of that there is nothing much work to do.

La familia el hostel super hospitalaria y educada, me hicieron sentir una más de ellos , todos los días comida casera y saludable, Hajar la mujer me regaló unos tatuajes de henna hechos por ella misma . Tiene unos hijos preciosos muy cariñosos y cercanos. el hostel muy atento siempre, hicimos dos excursiones a una familia nómada beréber que es bonito de ver para conocer distintas formas de vida y ruta con los camellos fuimos en 4x4 al hotel muy bonito y al día siguiente la ruta. Gracias por esta experiencia. A la gente buena le pasan cosas buenas, frase del amigo el hostel

Mi experiencia aquí en el hostel ha sido lo más. Gracias por abrirme las puertas de la ecovillage y dejarme descubrir la cultura local. Recomiendo visitar la familia nómada y hacer la ruta por el desierto. Volveré pronto, inshallah.

Estuve 3 semanas en el hostel, en un pueblo llamado Ksar el Boya. Es un lugar precioso, tranquilo y con gente increíble, como el hostel y su familia. El pueblo está a unos 10 minutos de Erfoud, a donde íbamos siempre a merendar, al mercado a dar una vuelta. También organizó una escapada al desierto de Merzouga, donde pasé una noche inolvidable, y una cena con una familia nómada encantadora. Conocí a personas que me enseñaron el alma de la cultura marroquí y amazigh, aprendí muchísimo. Gracias, el hostel, por esta experiencia que siempre llevaré conmigo, nos vemos pronto! :)

Mi amiga Carmen y yo estuvimos 5 días en el hostel, en la aldea de Iksar el Boya, ayudando en su hostal. No pudimos ayudarlo a construir el hostal porque algunos días llovió, pero sí ayudamos en la limpieza y organización de la cocina, una cocina-trastero y el garaje. el hostel es estupendo, una persona con una energía estupenda y que está enseñando al mundo otra cara de Marruecos menos turística. Además, con su proyecto conecta a los pueblos beréber nómadas con el mundo. También pudimos visitar el desierto, ir al mercado y aprender un poco de darija. Shukran bzaaf, el hostel! Hasta pronto!

La experiencia en el hostel es mi primera realizando un voluntariado y no podría haber elegido mejor, realmente superó mis expectativas. el hostel hace que te sientas en casa y durante el paso del voluntariado te sientes en familia, aparte de que realmente el intercambio cultural es realmente rico y está al pendiente de que te sientas cómodo. Me voy con el corazón lleno, he tenido una experiencia inolvidable en the hostel. He estado una estancia de 16 días, hacía tiempo que me apetecía hacer un Voluntariado y este ha sido el primero, y la verdad que me ha encantado. the hostel ha sido muy amable y muy buen mentor en esta gran experiencia. La verdad que volvería a repetir, nos vemos pronto. Muchas gracias por estos días.
