The experience

We're looking for someone respectful, friendly, and creative with hostel experience. Tasks include cleaning (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, common areas, laundry), welcoming guests, and assisting with other hostel activities like dinners and BBQs. Additionally, we need help at the reception.

The work is around 25 hours per week, having 2 free days so you can explore all the beaches around

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

3 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 25 and 45 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Activities & Shift

.Greet and interact with guests to ensure they have a pleasant experience and feel well cared for, coordinate effectively with the manager, oversee the cleanliness and organization of shared spaces during your shift, and provide support with any additional duties as needed
