Program Details

We are growing various kinds of fruits and doing fruit picking as business. We are one of the largest fruit farms in Yamanashi and the largest fruit picking farm in Minami Alps City.

We ask volunteers for five hours help per day and two days off during a week, or 6.5-7 hours help per day and three days off. The working hour is about 25-28 hours per week, it depends on the weather. As we are very busy, volunteers need to take care of meals by yourselves on days off. On days off, volunteers need to do cleaning the whole dorm and facilities where you stay.

Activities & Shift

Usually volunteers start working from 8:30am, one hour lunch at noon time (lunch hour doesn't count as working hour). Work will be finished around 4:30pm (4 days of work and 3 day off).

Rules

Volunteers who bringing the international driving license can help to drive the truck from the dorm to farm. We work as a team, so we hope our volunteers can help each other when there are problems occur.
On the other hand, since our volunteers are from different countries with different background, there are some dorm rules/regulations that volunteers have to follow, aims to respect other volunteers, also to respect and learn Japanese cultures. We wish volunteers have a high sense of being hygienic, not to waste energy and water, being helpful and nice to each other.
