Help with horse riding lessons and outdoor forest rides

If you're looking for an experience surrounded by nature with countless activities to do (horseriding, biking, paddling on the lakes, going on walks or runs in the forest…) this place is for you! The work varies, never boring, with flexible schedules and enough free time to enjoy your days. Coupled with the life of the camping, thanks to the warmth, kindness and hospitality of Naduah, and the others volunteers, it felt like home away from home. I'll be back someday for sure and I know I made friendships that'll last. Thank you so much!

My time at the farm was amazing! I mainly worked with horses—cleaning stalls, feeding them and other animals, walking the dogs, riding... Since the camp was still closed when I arrived, I also helped with cleaning and preparing the camping for guests. During free time, you can take a bike ride, swim in the nearby lake, ride the horses, or just enjoy the forest and the peaceful the camping. You'll share the apartment with other Worldpackers and three cats and the girls I met here will always have a special place in my heart 💖 I would definitely recommend this place to any horse or animal lover!

It was my first Worlpackers experience and it couldn't be better. I felt welcomed at the minute I arrived and met wonderful people who still have a place in my heart. The work was exactly what I expected and not really hard when you like to work with animals and enjoy to be outside. You also had a lot of free time where you could spend time with the horses and other animals, enjoy the nature or take a bike ride :) I would definitely recommend this place to every horse and animals lovers like to work outside and connect with nature 😊

My time on the farm was wonderful—made so by the other volunteers, the hosts, and their friends/staff on the camping. I especially enjoyed the animal shifts (where I could watch the ducks waddle around their pond, hand feed the deer like a Disney Princess, even run away from the alpacas😉) and the board game nights with Naduah, Martijn, and all of the other girls. The accommodation is cozy and it really does feel like you're having a sleepover with your besties each night. I will remember my time spent here very fondly and hope to see it again!

Such a lovely welcoming place I was so happy here and am sad to leave! The farm is full of amazing people and animals that I will miss :( Naduah is very generous and understanding when it comes to work and there's flexibility with the schedule which is appreciated. The apartment is so cute and cosy, I will miss movie nights and cuddling the cats it really feels like home 🩷

This was my first volunteer experience and I'm very happy. I worked as an Au Pair taking care of Dayo and Maya, two very sweet kids. For futere Au Pairs I think it's important to know some Dutch before coming here and have in mind that sometimes schedules can change. In my last week I also helped with the animals as a “horse girl.” It was hard work but I enjoyed it a lot and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to do it. The best part was sharing time with the girls from the apartment—I take with me great memories and true friendships. I really recommend this place to nature and animal lovers. <3

My personal experience has a lot of ups and downs overall the experience was good but you need to consider a few things before you come The place is remote the town is really far and nearby is only forest and lake The walk hours spread all day so in working days you cannot travel to the city Nadowa, the owners is amazing person that help me with everything and the girls in the apartment amazing we had really fun time together overall I recommend it to anybody that like nature quiet and meeting new people

It is a worthy experience if you like the camping want to have contact with the animals. I worked mainly in the Bar/ Restaurant, the restaurant can be really busy mainly during high season, but the staffs and guests were friendly, and the girls in the apartment were good company. Also, Naduah was flexible with the schedule and patient when finding solutions. However, there are some points that could be improved, the apartment is small for 7 people people and was quite messy and dirty making the routine challeging. Also, Nadia's husband was often incensable of volunteers.

I'm leaving with great memories but also some challenges. The farm work, especially with horses, is long and demanding, so free time is limited. Living with seven girls in a small apartment can be tough and often messy despite everyone's efforts. Food is usually enough but sometimes left out too long, which can feel unsanitary. People are mostly kind and helpful, though I was often corrected and reprimanded after mistakes. Come with an open mind and you'll leave with great memories and friendships, ready for both the highs and the lows.

I worked as an au pair and here's some quick notes for any future au pairs for Maya and Dayo: * You really need to know some Dutch to do the job effectively * It took three weeks of hard work for them to adjust to my presence and not to see me as an invasive stranger * But also keep it mind that it also takes time for you to get to know the kids In addition to taking care of the kids, I also had to do housekeeping and sanitary, so you won't be spending all your hours with the kids. If you don't mind the mess, the apartment is quite good. But the BEST time was spent with the girls playing!
