Gardening and home maintenance, painting and decorating.

The experience

We are a small, friendly, creative family: grandma, mum and daughter (mainly at Uni these days,), with extended family of all ages and a dad coming and going.

We'd love help with gardening, general housework, painting and decorating to re-establish some order in the studio and our garage which needs to function better as a workshop.

This opportunity has worked well for students of English who plan to teach in the future ~ Cheers!

Help with gardening and outside work in all weathers ~ bringing order to our small veg patch, cutting grass, restoring the lawns, helping to manage the hedges and fruit trees, gathering fuel, perhaps clearing snow ~ help with the usual seasonal tasks is always welcome. Help with clearing and sorting out sheds, workshops and garages that need updating.

Maintaining good order in the kitchen and general household care is welcome. Sharing and helping to clear away thoroughly after family meals, is always greatly appreciated.

Whatever skills our guests may have ... we're interested to learn and share.
