Join our family-run eco-farm surrounded by peaceful nature and help us build a sustainable and collaborative rural project. Your tasks may include working in the fields with crops, gardening, helping in the kitchen, assisting with small repairs, and learning traditional Kazakh farming techniques. 30 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Program Details

Welcome to our farm, located in the heart of Kazakhstan’s countryside! 🇰🇿 I’m Olzhas, a nature lover with a dream to build an eco-village inspired by community living—like a kibbutz—with values of freedom, sustainability, and hospitality. Our farm spans 500 hectares and is home to a big, warm family who loves meeting people from around the world.

By volunteering with us, you’ll:

Experience the traditional nomadic lifestyle 🌄
Taste delicious homemade Kazakh food 🥘
Learn the basics of crop production or animal care
Practice Russian or Kazakh in daily conversations 🗣️
Relax in the peaceful surroundings or bike to the nearby lake 🚲
Take day trips to Karaganda or Astana for cultural exploration 🏙️

We’ve hosted volunteers from many different countries over the years, and we know how to make your stay meaningful and unforgettable. You'll leave with lifelong memories, new skills, and a deeper understanding of Kazakh culture.
