The experience

Dupa Gards one-on-one mentoring program for an Introdcution to Permaculture. Set in a prestine rural setting, next to a natural reservation, our project offers a uniqe take on sustainable and regenerative practices. Unlike our normal volunteering program which asks for a lower fee and more serious work, this program aims to fully focus on the volunteers furthering of permaculture knowledge - both practical and theoretical. Incl. certification.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: € 15 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: The fee contributes to the solo housing, high quality local food and mentoring


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner German

Between 20 and 40 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

To get your certificate for an Introduction to Permaculture, come and join our program for at least two weeks. During one on one sessions, we will discover our permaculture property, its natural surroundings, and understand the design behind the place. How can we live more sustainable, or even regenerate the landscape? What exactly is permaculture, and how can I apply it? In practical and theoretical sessions we will explore this exciting world together. After a successful participation, a digital certificate will be handed out, certifying a basic understanding of permaculture principles and design.


Activities & Shift

Practical activities vary depending on the season, but it usually is mostly outdoors - rain or sunshine. Apopriate clothes are recomended, a good physical ability as well.
Theory will include Permaculture ethics and principles, history, understanding the interconnectivity of systems, permaculture design tools and their application

No drugs, no hate, curiosity and respect. Be open to this new experience, it has the possibility to be life-changing :)
