The experience

Support us by working for 8 hours a week and rest weekends. You can fundraise for our primary school children feeding program, teen mothers empowerment activities and organic farm programs. We welcome experienced and unexperienced volunteering for community impact with us. As a volunteer you will gain hands on experience on research, reproductive health, farming and Luo culture. We will provide accommodation, local foods during homestay.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Pubs: Get discounts at nearby pubs.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent English or Beginner Swahili

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

As a community organization we expect to work closely with world packers to create community impact through our organization. Not a requirement for volunteers but as an organization we struggle with financial resources to sustain our work thus any world packer willing to support or community work financially is also accepted. This support us to initiate sustainable projects for the organization. On the other hand, world packers should expect warm reception and hosting from our team and family, enjoy the African culture and gain valuable experience with our organization and community.
