The experience

We are looking for a motivated and responsible volunteer who will be trained by one of our managers and will work under their supervision. The volunteer will help cover several important daily tasks.
Together with our manager, we aim to create a welcoming safe environment, a strong sense of community, and a true cultural exchange.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Intermediate Italian or Fluent English

Between 18 and 37 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

The volunteer will help with the preparation of extra breakfast for guests who request it. This includes checking the number of guests the night before and preparing all necessary items such as eggs, bread, tea, coffee, and fruits. During breakfast, the manager and the volunteer will prepare and serve breakfast together, including for guests who booked it and for those who decide to add it. Breakfast help is usually around one hour, approximately between 10:00 and 11:00, followed by cleaning and organizing the kitchen.

From around 11:00 to 15:00, the volunteer will help with cleaning toilets, common areas, and rooms, making beds, deep cleaning,and starting the laundry. After the laundry, if guests arrive, the volunteer may assist with check-ins and basic reception tasks.

In the evening, we serve a family dinner.
The volunteer may help with setting up the table, cleaning after dinner, and, if they wish, helping with cooking. Volunteers are welcome to join the dinner when they help, as this is an important shared moment. We strongly believe in community life and cultural exchange, and dinner is part of this experience.

The schedule is 5 hours per day, 6 days per week, with 1 day off.
Working time and tasks are managed by the manager, and chores are divided between the manager and the volunteer depending on the day. Tasks may be done together or independently, always with clear communication and agreement.

Previous experience in Social hostels or social enviroment is required. English is needed, Italian Appreciate,friendly, responsible attitude is essential.

The amount of hours that the volunteer does is an exchange of an amount equal of 1500 lari paid in bed, breakfast and Dinner .
