The experience

Help Wanted in Housekeeping and Cleaning the dishes in our restaurant Bennies!
Our super fun team is looking for reinforcement in our hostel and restaurant. In this role you will work 2 or 3 days in housekeeping and 1 day cleaning the dishes. Your working hours are from 11 AM to 4:30 PM for housekeeping and from 5 PM till 10 PM, when you will help with cleaning the dishes at Bennies. You'll always have at least 2-3 days a week off.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Your workdays will vary each week, but one will always be a weekend day. Cleaning activities take place between 11:00 AM and 4:30 PM. On the days you work, you'll have breakfast with us and can also join the staff dinner 😊 After your shift, you get two free drinks (beer/wine/soft drinks). On the other days, you get 40% discount on the drinks at our bar.
During the housekeeping shifts, you clean the hostel rooms that are checked out that day. Besides that, you make sure the common areas are clean and neat.

Activities & Shift

The cleaning tasks consist of maintaining the common areas (including showers, toilets, communal kitchen) and the rooms (private rooms and hostel rooms). Our guests check out by 11:00 in the morning, and new guests check in starting from 3:00 in the afternoon. Once a week you will help to clean the dishes in our restaurant Bennies from 17.00-22.00.

Rules

The house rules for the guests are the same for our colleagues. We treat each other with respect and have a zero tolerance policy. You’re not aloud to use drugs or drink alcohol during your shift.
