My husband has passed away, and I now live on my own with my pets for company. I welcome kind and independent volunteers who can help with light cleaning, organizing, snow removal, and keeping the home cozy through the winter months.

What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Housekeeping:
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
Pet Sitting:
Taking care of and looking after pets.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
What you get
3 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Fast Internet Access:
High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Beginner English
Between 19 and 50 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
I’m looking for a kind and independent helper for wintertime tasks
mainly snow removal, light housework, cooking simple meals, and keeping things cozy and organized. Some company and conversation are always appreciated, especially during the quiet winter months.
If you enjoy animals, you’ll get along great here the pets are friendly and love attention. The work is light and flexible, with plenty of time to relax, explore the area, or just enjoy the peace and quiet.
Activities & Shift
cleaning the house in the morning getting, getting ready for lunch afternoon is calm evening dishes before bedtime so we can wake to a clean kitchen
winter need to be able to shovel snow
movies and dinner in the evening and if you like board games
Rules
House Rules:
1. Please clean up after yourself in the bathroom and kitchen.
2. Avoid bringing food into the bedrooms to prevent attracting mice, considering our country setting.
3. We aim to have meals together whenever possible.
4. conversation is a must cannot be a hermit sitting alone in the room at all times

7. no weed or recreational drugs at all on premises and smoking tobacco is outside
