The experience

Hello travelers!
We are an NGO that develops and tests environmentally friendly technologies to bring them to rural communities.

We need help with garden maintenance activities, to feed the farm animals, and in the maintenance of some eco-technologies.

We are willing to share knowledge about the development and use of eco-technologies during your stay. Join us!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner Spanish or Beginner English

Between 18 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We propose that before your arrival, you choose whether to assist with maintenance activities for eco-technologies as needed, farm animal care (feeding chickens and rabbits and herding sheeps), or garden maintenance (planting, watering, application, and preparation of bio-preparations)

Activities & Shift

If you choose maintenance of eco-technologies, we propose schedules from 10 am to 3 pm, 5 days a week of your choice.
For the farm animal care activity, it takes 30 minutes to feed the chickens and rabbits twice a day.
If you prefeer garden maintenance activity, the preferable schedule is in the afternoons from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, as watering and the application of bio-preparations cannot be done in strong sunlight.
