The experience
We live in a semi rural village with basic amentities like electricity and water in the western part of Kenya. We engage in farming activities which include growing of vegetables/crops such as maize, spinach, kales, pumpkins, local vegetables and fruit trees like mangoes, bananas, ovacadoes. We also keep animals like goats, cows, sheep, chicken, giz. We do beekeeping as well.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Painting & Decorating:
Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Cleaning:
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Kitchen Hand:
Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Animal Care:
Help look after and take care of animals.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Dedicated Workspace:
Specific space for you to work remotely

Intermediate English
Between 18 and 80 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
