We signed up to volunteer at the host's school in Phan Rang but were instead sent to a summer camp in Ho Chi Minh City. While we went with an open mind, the experience was poorly organised. The host saw us only twice in a month, and communication about our role was minimal. Accommodation was unstable, we moved from hotel to a classroom at the school, and the food allowance often arrived late. The school staff were kind and supportive, but the host's lack of planning left us in a difficult position. Overall needs clearer expectations and better coordination.

I loved my experience with Vu andthe school. After my experience here I feel it went by too quickly and I will miss Phan Rang very much-especially Vu! I feel I have found a true friend in him and hope to see him again some day soon! Vu was a very welcoming guest, we often enjoyed each other's company over dinner or visiting local attractions. The private space is very nice and he makes sure to be very accommodating. Working atthe school was so incredible! I got to gain insightful experience to help me with teaching the schoolin the future. The kids are very smart and I will miss them too! ❤️

Highly recommend staying with Vũ! He very kind, honest, and supportive. Despite the spontaneous work nature, teaching there was relatively easy and very rewarding. I assisted at his friend's Center, with Vũ ensuring I knew my way everyday. I was there mainly evenings mo- fr, with full weekends. This could get a little exhausting but there was plenty of time to sleep in during the week ;) Vũ showed us around town, introduced local spots, and hosted me in his cozy apartment close to the school. He is a great host and will always try his best even if things don't go as smoothly!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The working hours were great and the work is easy! (we usually worked 2-3 hours a day) We had a translator in the classroom, which made teaching much easier! Vũ was a great host, he always helped us if we needed anything. He made sure we had a great time and even organized some trips to different places for us. We had lunch and dinner with him everyday. We stayed in a flat with two other great volunteers and had everything we needed! I would really recommend this volunteer opportunity:) thanks Vũ!

Volunteering here has definitely been an enriching experience for me and my friend! We stayed in an really nice apartment with two other lovely volunteers. Vũ would take us out for lunch and dinner. He also went on several trips with us, including his hometown to meet his family and friends. We teached in his the school in the evenings and in some kindergardens, the kids are so cute! Vũ is a great host, he really cares about his volunteers, he is so funny and also very honest and just tries his best to make your stay great :) So we also extended for a few weeks, thanks!

Had a great time here. Vũ was a great host who cares deeply about his school, the students and the volunteers, he's also a very nice person to be around. The work was fine, easy hours and work. Took a few days to get used to the schedule but no problem overall. Vũ would meet us for lunch/dinner everyday and even took us out on days off to different places around Phan Rang and his hometown. Living conditions were also great, we stayed in his spare flat with two other volunteers, flat was very nice and clean. Would highly recommend this experience, had a great time!

Really recommend it! Vũ it's an amazing host, always there for you if you need anything. He showed us around the town and temples, provided us with delicious local food and also arranged a cute picnic at a river in his hometown to meet his family! He deeply cares about his school and his students; the job it's easy, suitable for beginners. The hours are amazing (a few hours on the evening and sometimes an hour the morning) so you have the whole day to discover the city.

I had a great experience with Vu. He is very kind and if you need something he'll help you. He will take you to local restaurants and introduce you to his friends, so you'll have a taste of the real and authentic Vietnam. You will work in Vu's the school and in other kindergartens for a total of 15 hours a week, but keep in mind that you will have to plan your lessons. I really enjoyed the work, but it can be stressful sometimes, especially with toddlers. Phan Rang is very nice and typical. More touristic locations like Da Lat or Nha Trang are not too far away. The only day off is Saturday.
