I'm staying for around two weeks and this is my first World Packer's volunteer. I enjoyed healthy home made food like potatoes and beans, also the bread and cake by Nisa are delicious . Sujan is a funny and happy person. The kids are extremely welcoming and friendly. I learnt the valuable lesson in teaching and playing with childrens. Volunteer in Kathmandu reveals the difficulties Nepali children facing like poverty, lack of opportunities and even electricity cuts. I would recommend you to have an experience volunteering here and expand your horizons of the world.

I had a WONDERFUL time working in the organization! Sujan and his family are amazing! They made me feel part of the family since I got there! They have a really good energy! The food was delicious and everyday we were learning a new game at night! The project help a lot of kids! They are so lovely, intelligent and happy! They're eager to learn everything! Our work is to give classes and play with them! I had an incredible time! And I'm already missing the kids and my Nepali family! I'm sure that we'll meet again! Thanks Sujan for everything!!!

It was my first volunteering experience, and I'm very grateful Sujan accepted me without previous references. I wanted to immerse myself in Nepali culture through real local contact, and that's exactly what I got. Sujan and his lovely family made me feel truly at home with their kindness and and warmth. I especially loved the time with the kids. They're full of energy and kindness, and it's clear they have fun during the classes and activities. I loved my experience at the organization's the organization. Living with the host family let me experience their culture, food, and daily life. Volunteering with the kids was amazing—they came to play, learn, and connect, and I shared a bit of myself with them. I also enjoyed quiet spaces like the terrace where I did yoga daily. Helping with the garden was a first for me. The host showed us Hindu temples nearby and shared about them, and we played Nepali board games in the evenings. Highly recommend this experience.

The experience with the family was very pleasant ✨ They make you feel part of it from the very beginning, and the children are very sweet and enthusiastic! The food has always been delicious! I had the idea of ​​being able to work more on the farm and do similar tasks, but there wasn't a specific itinerary for that. The excursions are paid, and I understand that's an expense not all volunteers can afford. It's a good opportunity for those who want to experience the routine of a Nepalese family!

Volunteering here was one of the most heartwarming experiences I've ever had. The kids are pure, full of love, and their energy is absolutely contagious—I totally fell in love with them! Sujan's family welcomed me with open arms, offering local experiences, surprises, and a true sense of belonging. I even got to help in the garden and harvest potatoes—such a wholesome moment! This week felt perfectly balanced, and the organization truly became a home for me. My heart is full. If you're looking for a meaningful way to give back, this is the place. One of my all-time favorite projects!

I spent an amazing week with Sujan's family. From the very first day, I was welcomed with so much warmth and kindness. I got the chance to watch my first Bollywood movie, learn how to play some Nepali board games, and was even invited to a traditional Hindu ceremony. But what I enjoyed the most was the time I spent with the kids. They were full of energy, curiosity, and above all, love. We played, laughed, and shared so many sweet moments together that really touched me. Thanks again!

Sujan and his family received me like a family member. I had my own room and there was always plenty of very nice home-made food. I got to spend 2 hours per day with the kids (ages from 6 to 13), doing a bit of language teaching, but mostly playing some games with them in an open park.

I felt very welcomed. It is a great experience to live with this generous host family who are helping their local community and who are willing to share their nepali culture with their guests. And the kids in the children's program are vibrant and excited to meet new people. I helped out volunteering a few hours each day and explored the rest of the time. Sujan even guided us through kathmandu area many of the days to see some wonderful sites and gave recommendations where to go for the other days.

Amazing experience, Sujan and his family are really great hosts. He brought us out regularly to visit the city and when I was ill his family took really good care of me. Highly recommend!!
