My experience at Emine's farm was absolutely wonderful. This was my first time volunteering with Worldpackers and I couldn't have hoped a better one. The food is amazing, the place is beautiful and the work is rewarding. If you are looking for a culture exchange this experience is for you. You a completely immersed in the Turkish culture with lots of fascinating discussions with Emine.

Emine is a fair, communicative, interesting and funny host. I couldn't have asked for a better first world packing experience. Usually you work 5 hours per day, with as much done in the morning as possible. This leaves you with the afternoons to roam around the peninsula if you wish. I chose mostly to relax on the farm which was great. The accomodation is like its own little apartment which is good for privacy. The room and bathroom were very clean and tidy. And the food was always delicious (particularly breakfast…). Thank you again Emine.

It was my first time doing a work exchange and it was a great experience! The farm is beautiful, Emine is nice and funny, I ate like a queen, I learned a lot about farming, and the room was clean and comfortable. She made sure each of us was okay at all times, she respected the work schedules, and she gave us plenty of traveling tips in Turkey that made my life much easier. Highly recommend! 🌟

My experience in Emine's farm was great. Emine has things pretty well organized. Tasks were reasonable and explained on time. Emine was always given good suggestions about places to visit around and how to get there. She made it easy to move around since she gave us rides to the bus stops we needed. Emine cooked turkish food that was good and enough. We ate meals always together and had talks while eating, that was a nice time. The bedrooms are really comfortable, with nice natural light and views from the outside, and pretty cleans. Emine's dogs that we walked in the afternoons are loving.

10/10. This experience was awesome! The work was great and divers so you could always do something different. Emine was super nice we had great talks and laughs together and she would even help you with planning your off-days and help you get where you want to go. The food was delicious and Emine cooked new dishes everyday and she always asks if you want seconds and in your free time there was a lot you could visit. It's really a great experience I'd recommend to anyone because I totally loved it. Thanks for such a great time and I'm happy I got to be your 4th Worldpackers Volunteer.

The farm immediately gave me a warm and welcoming feeling and it quickly started to feel like a home to me with a very peaceful vibe. Emine is a thoughtful, empathetic and inspiring person, which helps with easily creating this amazing environment. The experience matches the description in the profile! The work was enjoyable and the 5 hours of work a day are perfectly fine, within the two off days a week you have the chance to explore the villages around the area. The breakfast has a special place in my heart! Thank you for making this possible, I'm happy to have been your 2nd WP volunteer.

My 3 weeks at Emine's farm was absolutely amazing! The work was enjoyable and hours were very reasonable, I felt like part of a team when working to finish tasks around the farm with Emine and the other volunteers. I couldn't have felt more welcomed and I'm forever grateful for the amazing food Emine would cook and the people I met during my stay! If you like farming or just being outside in general this is a great place for it, there is also so much to do in your free days in the surrounding areas. Thank you for hosting me Emine and I'm happy to have been your first Worldpackers volunteer!

I had a nice time at Emine's farm. Great location being next to the beach and an hours walk from Özbek, and I met so many lovely volunteers. The farm work itself wasn't too difficult, but to be honest I wasn't given many farm tasks. While all the other volunteers were out in the field, Emine would have me clean her car or a room in her house. There were expectations but no appreciation. She was also hard to have conversations with. I felt like I was always walking on eggshells or saying the wrong thing around her. Because of that I wouldn't recommend volunteering here for more than 2 weeks.

Kyla, you applied for a payment position about the cleaning. Do you remember your application letter? "By the way, I am applying to volunteer for two weeks but I am also open to do the three month work position. I am a very clean person and am happy to clean the houses. The earliest I can start is June 30th and can go to September 31st" and you stayed 45 days and got the money what we were agree on. Your comment, even though you forget to do the assigned tasks some times, is not fair. Which is also shows your work ethic, applying for cleaning and complaining about not being on the field with the other volunteers... very interesting.
