MOGH Uganda’s volunteer program allows individuals to contribute their skills to support vulnerable girls, women, and children. Here’s how it works:
1. Orientation & Training
- Introduction:** Volunteers attend an orientation to learn about MOGH Uganda’s mission and community impact. We do not provide specific training but require volunteers to use the skills they already possess.
2. Volunteer Activities
- Content Creation: Volunteers create videos and social media content to showcase the lives of vulnerable girls, women, and children.
- Community Engagement: Assist with organizing health outreaches, workshops, and other community events.
- Administrative Support: Help with office tasks like data entry, event coordination, and communications.
3. Support & Guidance
- Supervision: Volunteers receive guidance from a coordinator, ensuring they have the resources and support needed.
- Check-Ins: Regular check-ins assess progress and address challenges.
4. Collaboration & Teamwork
- Volunteers work alongside staff and other volunteers, contributing in a team environment to maximize impact.
5. Reporting & Feedback
- Volunteers provide updates on their work, helping us track progress and improve the program.
6. Recognition & Appreciation
- At the end of the volunteering period, volunteers will receive a certificate of appreciation for their contribution.
7. Ongoing Opportunities
- Volunteers can take on greater responsibilities and continue to contribute to long-term initiatives.
Your skills and dedication will directly impact the lives of those MOGH Uganda serves, fostering positive change in the community.
