The experience

Hello, I'm Lívia Ingrid and my husband's name is Felipe. We would like to learn English from a native speaker or someone who can communicate in our language (Portuguese or Spanish). I have the goal of doing a doctorate abroad, which is why I need to learn the language as soon as possible. We expect volunteers to be patient, collaborative, responsible, lively, enjoy talking and interacting, and willing to learn our culture.

What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English or Intermediate Portuguese

Between 18 and 80 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Brazil

Program Details

We hope to have many exchanges and learning. We are communicative and willing to learn a new language, which is English. We are flexible and super excited. We are opening the doors of our home so that this exchange can be made. We have the structure to receive just one person. We have a dog called Dalila, very docile and beautiful. It's her house hehehe

Activities & Shift

usually, we can study at night, as we work during the day. The schedules and distribution of days can be negotiated, we are very understanding and fair.

Rules

It is necessary to help with cleaning what is used by the volunteer himself, we do not have a maid for this, we clean the house ourselves. Maintain the living environment.
Use headphones to listen to music.
