It was a pure pleasure to stay at the camping. It was my first volunteering and I stayed one month. From the first moment I felt welcomed. There is a good energy and everyone is friendly, inclusive and kind. You can meet people from all over the world! It is a great opportunity to get in contact with nature thanks to the location of the camp but also to visit the surroundings included the cities! I trully recommend this volunteering and I would be glad to come back!

I spent a month in the camping, it was my first volunteering and I really enjoyed it! The place has good vibes and the people are really nice. I arrived there before the opening and stayed during the low season so there were few guests and the job was more to organize the spaces and set up the location after the winter closure! The camp is located within a beautiful and large campsite surrounded by a natural park. It's 5 minutes walk to the beach, plus it's close to Haalem (lovely town) and the camping! I would recommend this place and come back!

You will be welcomed in the Crew right away and you can go on parties with the Crew Leaders. There are 2 big fridges with stuff you can take to make your meal in the morning or evening besides the regular meals that you take together with the other volunteers. The place is not far from the beach or the camping. The city harlem is as well easy to reach with the bus. It is definitely an experience worth seeing or living 👁👀

It was a really interesting experience to learn new tasks, good vibe, beautiful camp, you are very close to the sea, the management is well supervised. But if you want to party this is not the place, it is a relaxing place, It's a vegan camp and for surfing you don't have great waves, good sessions are very rare. Thank you again, thank you the camping

I was meant to volunteer at the camping first but then I got asked to work at the beachcamp and get paid. I left earlier than I wanted to because I didn't feel very included as often people only spoke dutch/spanish. I ended up doing a lot of things by myself and I enjoyed the beach, surfing and the gym. It's great when the weather is good! Communication could have been better. I am also still owed money and there is no communication. I enjoyed a few things about my stay but I wouldn't come back sadly! 😐

The best experience I could have had as a first volunteer, the entire the camping team is very attentive, friendly, they care about you and make you feel part of the family. It is volunteering on the beach but very close to the camping since you arrive by train and it is super easy, in high season they have many events and although I went in low season I still enjoyed it a lot and met a lot of people. Spend incredible moments in this camp Thanks for everything ♥️♥️

Alejandra came in the end of the season, but still she became a big part of the Surfana family. She filled up the place with herpositiv energy and connected with guests and crew. She was a all around talent and help in the kitchen, cleaning the area and tents and gave some yoga lesson.
We hope to see you next year again!

My volunteering at the camping was wonderful! the hosts were super welcoming and friendly. the work was simple. I worked in some functions, cleaning the tents, reception and kitchen. I learned many new skills. When we finished the agreed hours, we had the day free to enjoy the campsite and the surroundings. The food they offered was simply wonderful. It was amazing! I already miss it and hope to return next summer! Love you guys, thank you for everything! ❤️

I really enjoyed my time at the camping, everyone was really nice. It was laid back and a really chilled atmosphere. I was there over their annual festival too which was a lot of fun. It quieted down towards the end of my time at the camping, meaning you had a lot time to do other things. It's in a great location for exploring the rest of Holland. I would definitely recommend and come back again;)

The camp is an incredible place. The crew area has a lot of food, many spaces to stay chill and the people are really social and charming. The work is the same as they explain in the web. I recommend this place !!

To me the camping has been a place of peace and just wonderful vibes both from the amazing people that look after it and from the place itself. If you want to live an experience in touch with nature and you want to dive in the dutch culture, this is the place for you. I'll always carry with me the stunning sunsets and the strong waves that the dutch sea sometimes slammed to the beach. The energy that this place radiates is immaculate. Can't wait to go back.
