What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 210 Per week

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

Description: The program fee of $210 covers all of your accomodation at the best Hostel in Tanzania, The White House of Tanzania, Breakfast and Dinner each day, Airport Pick Up, and Program Support

Program Details

In collaboration with one of the only Mental Health centers in Tanzania, this internship program provides a hands-on experience in a hospital setting. As a volunteer, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in a dynamic and culturally rich environment while actively participating in mental health initiatives. Your efforts will contribute to fostering awareness, understanding, and support for those in need within the local community.

This internship is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience, allowing you to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Activities & Shift

Participants in this volunteer internship program in Tanzania will engage in impactful work focused on mental health from morning until mid-afternoon. The day begins with a sense of purpose as you arrive at the clinic within the hospital, ready to contribute to the essential services provided by one of the few Mental Health centers in the region.

In the morning, you'll immerse yourself in the clinic's activities, working alongside professionals dedicated to addressing mental health challenges. Whether you're involved in direct patient support, assisting in therapy sessions, or contributing to awareness programs, each task is a valuable step towards fostering a healthier and more informed community.

As the day progresses, you may have the opportunity to participate in meetings with the clinic's staff, learning about the unique aspects of mental health care in a developing country.
