The experience

The volunteers can teach arrange of subjects including English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Religious education, Science and more. Volunteers are to chose the subjects they teach as they can teach the subject they like but usually specialize in one or two subject. Volunteers are also free to coordinate sports and learn Maasai culture and arts at the end of the day. We build a rescue center for the girls who are facing Female Genital Mutilation


What you offer

8 hours of help per week

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 6 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Volunteers contribute $6 per day to help with food like breakfast, lunch and dinner


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 77 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Volunteers are also free to coordinate sports and learn Maasai culture and arts at the end of the day. We build a rescue center for the girls who are facing Female Genital Mutilation FGM and early marriages and some of the volunteers who wish will be working over there. We have one hundred and three ( 103 ) rescued girls in the rescue center. Many volunteers are also opt to tutor some students during the period
