The experience

Experience the magic of the Moroccan desert! Join a unique volunteer program where you can help repair buildings with sand bricks, care for stray cats, create decorations, or capture the stunning landscapes. Enjoy preparing and sharing traditional Moroccan meals, gather around evening bonfires, play local music, and explore the surrounding villages. Connect with nature, culture, and community in an unforgettable adventure.

What you offer

3 hours of help per day

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 5 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: The daily fee for this experience is €5, which helps cover the costs of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as materials for the activities. I would love to offer everything for free, but with rising prices and no income from the project, a small daily contribution is necessary to keep the program running.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details

Immerse yourself in a dynamic array of tasks that flow with the pulse of our desert project. Learn the ancient art of building with sand and water as you craft traditional mud-brick rooms, restoring old structures and creating unique entrances, benches, and life-filled spaces.
Embark on a culinary adventure, discovering the flavours and traditions of Moroccan cuisine while preparing and sharing meals with the group, every task shapes our project’s landscape and brings it to life.
Connect with nature as you learn a new lifestyle of responsibility, patience, and respect for all living beings.

Activities & Shift

Engage in a harmonious rhythm of activities as we breathe life into our family camp, nestled in the desert near Tagounite. Like the shifting sands of the desert, we adapt and evolve, working together to restore and enhance our sanctuary.
Embrace the philosophy of shared purpose and togetherness, where each activity carries a piece of our collective story:

- Culinary Exploration: discover the alchemy of traditional Moroccan cuisine, forging connections over shared meals.

- Caring for Companions: a lot of stray dogs and cats need food and human love, in this project is possible to spend time and care for them

- Natural Connection: sometimes it will be possible to cultivate the garden oasis, nurturing both plants and your own connection to the land.

- Desert Experience: when the weather is good is possible to move to the camp, helping in renovating and adjusting that after the 2024 flooding damages
