My stay at Sammatz was a memorable one, filled with new connections, expansive conversations, music, nature and an invitation to be present with all tasks. It was my first volunteering experience and it really set the bar in terms of the variety of work areas and people. I learnt a lot of new skills and knowledge here and I'm so grateful for the month I spent. I grew a lot in my time there. I found it quite social, so making time for yourself is key. you'll most likely find your place within Sammatz if you move with an open heart and mind, be curious! I hope I'll come back to visit soon 🌸

100% recommend and would love to go back. Sammatz is one of the closest things to perfection ive ever experienced. I made so many friends and practice so many different languages. They are so ready to help with any issues that may come up and also listen to everything the volunteers have to say; your voice really matters. It's an experience you carry for life. My stay in Sammatz was an incredible experience! I met wonderful people, staff and volunteers, connected with nature, and had so much fun. I worked mostly at the Café, which helped me improve a little bit of German while talking to customers. They are very understanding about your wishes and limits. Working hours are respected and the schedule is very organized. It's a great place and a beautiful community. Would for sure come back :)) Best wishes to the whole team!!

This is a wonderful village filled with kind and inspiring people who live and work together in a truly welcoming atmosphere. I had the pleasure of meeting volunteers from all around the world , a vibrant and heartwarming community of amazing individuals! It's an experience I will always treasure. There are plenty of opportunities to learn new languages, explore different cultures and personal stories, and take part in a variety of simple yet meaningful and enjoyable tasks. The place is incredibly well cared for and runs smoothly. I warmly recommend it to everyone!

I am right now at my home in Rome after a month spent in Sammatz, in the the community; I feel more comfortable and relaxed here than I did before I left, because I know that exists at least one other place in the world where I can feel at home: the the community. Every member of this community is in complete harmony with themselves , the other members of the community, and the volunteers who come from all over the world. I feel lucky to have experienced this through my own eyes: I left this place with greater hope in humanity. Thanks to the community and every volunteer :)
