Very cool place, I enjoyed understanding and connecting with the place and people during my time here. I met many nice people and had good experiences. Hard work, but plenty of time to do different things too, like resting, playing volleyball, and more. I will return!

Sammatz is a nice place to stay. It provides a good environment to meet a lot new people and there are different kinds of jobs to do. Personally i had and amazing experience because i made new friends that i feel like family. At the end of my stay i hurt my back and they allowed me to stay longer until i recovered. I recommend it.

I stayed two weeks in the community and it was a great time. It is such a wonderful place, with many beautiful gardens. I received a warm welcome from the hosts and I enjoyed learning new things there like gardening, face painting and meeting many people from all over the world. Thanks so much for the opportunity! ❤️

Hey ! This was my first volunteering and the best 6 weeks of my life so far. Volunteering in Sammatz is such a good and amazing experience that will change your life for ever. The community is full of kind and respectful people. A very safe place where you feel welcomed and at home. It's also a place where you will meet many other volunteers and people leaving there, learn about many different cultures from all over the world, about nature, animals, how to run a café, being in a big kitchen, doing dishes, help to have a clean house to stay, help in the fields, in the foodtruck…

I loved my stay at Sammatz. It was a great place to meet new people from all over the world and it was easy to connect with them. The accommodation was good and as I expected, the only thing I didn't know beforehand was that we would be sharing the space with high scholers who did an internship there. Most of the time they didn't cause a problem but sometimes they didn't clean up after themselves. Luckily we could always call someone who could help with that. The communication was great! You could always ask questions and they would be answered quickly and honestly. I truly recommend this pla

I felt welcomed as the first time. The community itself with all the members, the other volunteers, all the people there, the energy..everything in Sammatz is always amazing. I already knew that this place could help me improving knowledge and new skills and it definitely happened. Working with Jesus is been full of funny moments but also always quite challenging..and working in the marketing gave me the opportunity to find out multiples ways to live this experience, the meaning of the friendships, the values in the little moments and the importance of listening. I'll definitely come back! 🫶🏼

The people who live and work there are very nice and helpful. I met a lot of new amazing people and new great friends that become like a family with whom i will stay in contact. My time in Sammatz was amazing :) I spent one month there and would definitely go back again! I met so many friendly people from around the world and felt at home. The tasks vary every day - a schedule is sent out every night. I talked with my mentor Hannah about what I enjoyed doing and what I didn't and I got to do more work in the garden and with the animals, which I loved. Volunteers usually work six hours a day and have two days off. In my free time, I went to Berlin, Lüneburg, and bike rides to a nearby town and river.
