The experience

We are a community based project in the slums of Kenya called Kibera Slums and we work with kids. We work to create a future for the kids in the slum by ensuring them love, education, food and sanitary towels for the girls.

Help us manage the project social media accounts on all platforms, making posts and sharing them for publicity and marketing.


What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 15 Per day

Description: Will cover expenses of food, electricity,water and internet. Any additional will go as donation to the project.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.


Requirements

Beginner English or Fluent Spanish

Between 20 and 50 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
