What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Our volunteer program at Beach Life Palomino is all about creating unforgettable experiences! Volunteers are expected to engage with guests, host events, and help maintain a lively and inclusive atmosphere. You’ll assist with reception duties, support the team, and make sure no one feels alone. It’s a perfect opportunity for those who love meeting new people, creating a social atmosphere, and enjoying beach life. Activities & Shift

At Beach Life Palomino, volunteers are at the center of everything we do! You’ll welcome guests with a smile, hand out flyers to promote our events, and help create a friendly, social atmosphere where no one feels left out. Tasks include check-ins, organizing daily activities, and keeping the good vibes flowing. Shifts are 5 hours a day, leaving you plenty of time to relax, explore, and enjoy your best life in the best place for tourist in Colombia: Palomino.

Rules

We depend on you to create the vibe here! Be on time, sober, and fully present during your shift—phones away, smile on. No one that’s not a current volunteer can pass the stairs up to the volunteers room area. Put your valuables in your locker under a lock. This isn’t just a job, it’s a commitment to the Beach Life community and our hostel vibe. Spend your time here building that atmosphere, not hanging out at other hostels or that one specific bar that we don’t go to, which is our main competition. Keep it drama-free—don’t let yourself get swept away of the hostel gang by the same old beach flirts who always show up when new volunteers arrive. If getting weird vibes from anyone we can block the entry of that person. Let’s make sure every day feels like the start of a new group of friends—include the new guests, keep the good energy flowing, and help everyone feel welcome. Keep shared spaces clean, and always make sure no guest feels left out. After all, our guests are the ones who leave the reviews that keep us shining as the best place in Palomino!
