Had a great time at the lodge José! My tasks were varied, and contributed with everything from helping in the kitchen to help out on the boat with fishing. On your free time you have access to snorkeling equipment, kayaks and paddle boards.

Absolutely loved my experience at the the lodge! it was an absolute dream to be working and living right by the ocean. The work was good and the team was so lovely to be around. food was AMAZING. Wish I stayed longer! I would recommend some level of Spanish as not many people spoke English which makes it perfect for practising! Highly recommend

La the lodge is a great place, and I really enjoyed the three weeks I spent there. The team is very friendly as well. I highly recommend it ! The only downside I found is that breakfast and dinner consist mainly of eggs ;) Wishing all the best to the lodge team!

Amazing Experience ! I spent a month and a half at La the lodge, the owners Isaias and his dad Maurizio are very nice and helpful, intelligent and communicative people, based on my previous work experiences, they adapted the "program" of my work, which was super fun ! Kevin the on-site group leader makes you feel immediately at home, and cooks delicious meals, Great work team, and completely Spanish speaking, so it is a great place to practice Spanish. The dry and scattered area around la the lodge amazes you with its nature ! recommend it to everyone ! Un abrazo ❤️

Las personas en el alojamiento José son maravillosas, el lugar es hermoso, el señor Mauricio es un amor, el tío Leo también, voy a llevar en mi corazón a Gaby y su familia ❤️‍🩹. El acuario es precioso y hacer Kayak luego de un día de voluntariado es lo mejor, te relaja bastante. Lamentablemente tuve que salir antes de tiempo del voluntariado pero en general me llevo una muy buena experiencia, aprendí mucho y espero poder aportar a otros lugares con la experiencia que aprendí aquí. Como ha sucedido en anteriores voluntariados, éste superó mis expectativas. Contención, empatía, respeto, consideración, paciencia, asesoramiento sobre tareas específicas, cuidados,etc es lo que percibí en éste lugar. Con una convivencia tan cómoda que me sentí como en mi casa esta vez con una "nueva familia ". Como lo expresé con el anfitrión y con cada una de las personas que tuve la oportunidad de compartir esta bella experiencia.

El alojamiento José es un lugar tranquilo y aislado que permite descansar, conectar con momentos reflexivos, creativos y contemplativos. Cuando llegan turistas el ambiente se torna más dinámico y acelera los requerimientos en torno al trabajo, el cual se vicula a apoyo en cocina, atención a público y limpieza de habitaciones. Las personas que ahí habitan son todas amables y a medida que pasan los días se van abriendo a contar sus historias y perspectivas de vida. Ahí tuve la posibilidad de remar, hacer paseo en barcaza, hacer caminatas y nadar.
