Fun to be a part of farm/guesthouse life in a stunning location! My work (moving dirt with a wheelbarrow) was hard but as described and I also had goat supervision duties. the lodge and Mikele are both kind and clearly love running their guesthouse/farm. Was great getting to eat with the other volunteers at the farm and chat around the campfire each night. Food is simple (normally sticky rice and stir fried veges) but good, plentiful and nutritious. Bananas and fried sweets were available every day and local shops have a small selection of snacks too. Jungle trekking and tubing were lots of fun!

The lodge's garden is a peaceful, laidback place. the lodge provides amazingly good food everyday, although the food is quite simple and similar. Working is nice. It's only in the morning.

I had a great time in the lodge's farm! She is very nice and always giving instructions with a smile, although with little English. The overall atmosphere with the other volunteers was amazing as well. We picked coffee, water and fertilise plant (moved a bit of animal shit around), built a fence, cut trees and bamboos, and make big fires with them. Lots of fun :)

It was a nice stay here at the lodge farm. Work in the morning like taking goats to field, cutting bamboo for the first time, picking coffee. After work relax, connect and play with lovely kittens or dog. After dinner make a cozy fireplace. Good food. the lodge is really nice I wish she could speak more English.

Nice getaway from the city! Prepare to get dirty, but it's really interesting and fun. Food is delicious, cutest animals around and plenty of time to relax in nature. Might be a bit difficult to get here, but it's worth it.

The working hours were exactly as said online, the work itself was very repetitive and physically demanding, but manageable. I volunteered with two friends. We hoped to meet other volunteers as well, which wasn't the case. There isn't anything to do in the afternoons, especially since the farm is in the countryside, so prepare to entertain yourself. One thing that kind of disappointed me, was that we weren't involved in the local life at all. The host the lodge is a lovely woman (always friendly, cooking good food) but we didn't get to know her much, since we ate and worked on our own.

The lodge and Michele are lovely people. We were working 4h in the morning as agreed. The work was very repetitive and a lot of weeding (no animal care as said in the description). However, we were not really integrated in the local life. In the morning we were working the three of us, at lunch the lodge was preparing us great food but were eating on our own and in the afternoon we had free time but once again, difficult to enjoy the local life. The accommodation is rusty but ok. We went to a local festival once and that was nice. It is a good volunteering if you want some hard work and solo free time.

The lodge and Michele are really nice, but the experience was far from what I expected. Accomodation was uncomfortable (lot of insects biting ), the work was repetitive and really tiring, we were on our own the whole time and, being the farm in the middle of nowhere, it can be overwhelming if it's not what you're used to. If you love hard work and you enjoy spending a lot of time on your own, it can be a good place. the lodge is kind and friendly but the language barrier can be problematic (mostly to understand tasks). I feel like I didn't learn a lot.
