The experience

Practice Spanish helping children at Pachamama´s house to make a difference!
Make an impact and develop children´s lives through English lessons, practicing sports sharing positive activities to improve their skills and self-esteem with games.

Assisting the permanent teacher with the activities in the classroom.
English lessons are every:
Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm
Friday from 5:30 to 6:30pm






What you offer

5 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 277 Per week

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

Description: We contribute to delivering school materials, clothes, shoes, and medical assistance to children who live within vulnerable populations from low-income families. Volunteers contribute 277 USD per week to cover food expenses, maintenance, and financing of our organization.

What you get

4 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate Spanish or Intermediate English

Between 20 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Assisting the permanent teacher with the activities with the kids in the classroom.

Activities & Shift

The are 2 groups :
*The intermediate English Mondays and Fridays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm
*The basic English on Monday, Wednesdays and Friday from 7-8 pm ( is require to speak Spanish intermediate)
Helping with the activities inside the classroom, like pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar games, etc.
