30 hours of help per week

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Activities & Shift
8 am to 9 am breakfast
9 am to 9:15 am - transfer all biodegradable waste in composting unit
9:15 am to 12 am- Collect all dry waste and segregate them in different categories
12 to 1 - Lunch
2 to 3 PM Transfer all biodegradable waste into composting unit. Spread old compost in garden
3 pm to 5 pm : Make bio enzyme, or crafts from waste
Rules
Creating a zero waste homestay involves specific rules and regulations to ensure that sustainability goals are met and the property operates in an environmentally responsible manner. Here are rules and regulations for volunteers working in a zero waste homestay:
1. Waste Reduction and Segregation:
Volunteers must sort waste into designated bins for recycling, composting, and landfill waste.
Follow the homestay's guidelines for waste segregation and disposal.
2. Responsible Consumption:
Conserve resources such as water and electricity by following established guidelines.
Use eco-friendly products and materials that align with the zero waste philosophy.
3. Composting Practices:
Learn and implement proper composting techniques for organic waste.
