The experience

Our lodge is central to all the villages on Lake Atitlán. We are directly on the lake, great for swimming , clean water, we offer stand up paddle-boarding and tubes. We have a restaurant and a bar on the lake. Private Rooms and a shared room all with balconies and great views.We need 3/4 people to help at reception and the restaurant to help with the guests and perform work that the local village people are not yet able to do.


What you offer

28 hours of help per week

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.


What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Requirements

Fluent English and Beginner Spanish

Between 22 and 45 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

We offer a work exchange of 5/6 hours a day for 5 days. In exchange for a cozy private pod area in a large room, with a balcony, great views on Lake Atitlán. Reception and restaurant work, performing a job the local people are culturally are not yet trained to do, due to the guests cultural and language differences.
