The experience

Come and learn about organic farming and wildlife conservation on a historic Somerset hill farm , with a small flock of sheep grazing the wildlife sites and rewilding part of the Yarty Valley.
You will be expected to work for 5 hours , 5 days per week starting at 9 am , cooking and sharing meals . Christian based home.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Intermediate English or Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

Help needed , cleaning , cooking , DIY , sheep care , conservation works , supplying logs for the wood stove .


Rules

No Smoking in the house or farm buildings , No bad language , No excess drinking , Zero drugs . Please be on time for work . No Loud Music .
