The experience

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hostel. Your responsibilities will include administrative tasks, guest handling, kitchen assistance, and general support. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in hospitality, meet new people, and enjoy a fun and dynamic work environment.

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Activities & Shift

Administrative Support:
Assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Manage bookings and update guest records.
Handle email and phone inquiries from guests.
Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.

Guest Handling:
Welcome guests and provide them with information about the hostel and local area.
Address guest queries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously.
Organize and facilitate social events and activities for guests.
Assist guests with local travel advice.

Kitchen Orders and Assistance:
Take and manage kitchen orders from guests.
Assist with the preparation and serving of breakfast and other meals.
Ensure the kitchen area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards.

General Support:
Help maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas.
Assist with laundry or any other queries
