It was truly an exceptional experience. The guides at the lodge are fantastic. They really showed us the Amazon, their culture, and their knowledge in every aspect. Future volunteers should be aware that 80% of the population has malaria, and that we often come into direct contact with the locals, both during meals and on excursions (one of the guides had to be hospitalized), so I strongly recommend taking precautions beforehand. Aside from that, I had an exceptional stay, meeting exceptional people who will remain forever remembered, and I thank the lodge and its entire team for that.

My stay in the lodge was really nice. I loved going on the tours, talking with the guides and I met some amazing other volunteers with whom I've become great friends. Translating was tough the first week but became a lot easier, and it really, really helped me improve my Spanish!! Unfortunately the 3rd and 4th week of my stay here saw an extreme u flux of the amount of tourists (to be fair, it was a bit tooo much) which did make those weeks a little hectic and less fun. Overall though, I've had a great experience here at the lodge and am really happy I've experienced it!!

Wow, my expectations were definitely surpassed!! This was a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to act as a bridge of friendship and communication between the indigenous people of San Martín and the international tourists. I had a variety of tasks, such as managing the social media pages and translating on tours, so I was always learning and growing. José & his family really made an effort to make me feel welcome in the community. In addition, Heike was very responsive to questions but also allowed me to have creative liberty with the social media. Highly recommend :)

At Cada the lodge I have an amazing experience, I have the opportunity of participating in different activities, like tours, the work was great! The food were amazing, the facilities as well and the best part of course was the people, learning from everyone was such a privilege. I definitely recommend it

In my personal opinion, this has been the best experience I've had on Worldpackers. I truly don't want to leave this place; in fact, I still have another two weeks here. First, I'll say that Heke is the epitome of charisma, clever, and fun. Secondly, living within the community and exploring the jungle around and beyond is a delight for my senses. Running through the jungle in the rain, unable to see what the near future holds, is fascinating—whether it be a snake, a tarantula, or even mushrooms and fungi. That is the magic of this place—it's never the same path, never the same jungle. Cheers?

Mi paso por el alojamiento fue mágico. Desde el punto de vista del voluntariado, se cumplen con los horarios y las actividades pactados, las comidas son abundantes y deliciosas y el espacio para dormir muy cómodo. Desde el punto de vista personal, realmente se sintió como una familia. Leidy, Gato, José y su familia son excelentes personas. Me sentí cómoda y súper bienvenida desde el primer día. Todos los días aprendes o haces algo nuevo. Sin dudas lo recomiendo 100%

La experiencia que tuve en el alojamiento fue muy buena, se respetó todo lo pactado, la comida es muy rica y la cama muy cómoda, lo mejor de todo sin duda alguna es la oportunidad que tienes para poder vivir con la comunidad, me recibieron con los brazos abiertos y me hicieron sentir uno de ellos, conocí personas magnificas y viví hermosos momentos, recomiendo mucho este voluntariado!

La experiencia en el alojamiento fue demasiado increíble! Las horas de trabajo son respetadas al igual que los días de descanso. La comida siempre deliciosa. Ir a los tours a traducir es una oportunidad increíble para conocer la selva desde adentro al igual que los alrededores de la comunidad. Sobra decirlo, pero uno aquí puede conectar con la naturaleza como en pocos lugares. La gente local y el staff del alojamiento súper amables y siempre abiertos a enseñarte su cultura. Sin duda alguna fue una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida. Espero volver pronto.

El alojamiento es realmente un hogar en medio del Amazonas, estar inmersa entre la cultura y costumbres del pueblo Tikuna fue una experiencia llena de aprendizajes, recomiendo en un 200% hacer un voluntariado en este mágico lugar, los admis y dueños siempre están pendientes de ti, abiertos a escuchar y a fijar los acuerdos necesarios para que el voluntariado sea la mejor experiencia. Gracias infinitas el alojamiento por permitirme vivir tantas aventuras, les quiero y espero volver pronto!
