The hotel was gorgeous, definitely recommend doing this. Relaxed bar work/ helping Khmer kitchen. Staff were all lovely. You get 3 meals a day from the menu, and there is plankton in the sea at night which is super cool.

Such an amazing beach with a beautiful sunset view every night. Shiobrha and all the other staff are great and very welcoming. Defo do this if you want a fun few weeks working on a private beach between your travels. Missing Lola, Lola and snow ❤️ also met lots of friends (lizards, chickens and crabs) ! The luminous plankton was super cool and easily visible at night. They also generously let us use snorkelling gear and stand up paddle boards during our stay. Thanks so much!

I had a great time at the hotel for two and a half weeks! You get to stay on the most beautiful beach with the best sunsets. connect with the local staff and many more volunteers. You can take a sup and snorkel to go around the island which is pretty cool. Along my stay some of the time we had Wi-Fi problems. Definitely had a good time!

We had a great time at the hotel! It was nice to get to know the other volunteers and the local staff and we had a lot of fun spending the holidays and the new years together! The location and surroundings are beautiful and you should definitely go snorkelling. However be prepared that there can be electricity and wifi problems. We will definitely come back!

I would NOT recommend. There were huge cleanliness problems in the volunteer dorm (it's never cleaned) so there were literally rats and animal feces all over the room. Scary. Also, I am an online english teacher-- the host promised wifi (I explicitely asked before coming) and when we were there some days there was no wifi (as well as electricity outages / no running water) for 10 days at a time. If you have any online work, are close to your family, or value cleanliness it will be hard. Also, the manager was extremely abrasive/ defensive so no one could talk to her about these problems.

When talking with Allana she never mentioned that she does teaching as a full time job, if she looks back through our messages she can see she asked how the WiFi connection is, as in her free time she sometimes teaches. If she clarified that she is working full time and more interested in teaching than volunteering we would have informed her that we are on a small tropical island in Cambodia and this wouldn't be the best place for a full time online teacher.

I also want to clarify that we were NEVER 10 days without water, yes sometimes we didn't have water as our tanks were being filled and this takes some time until you can take a shower again. It might have been 1 hour without water but definitely not 10 days! We are on a small island so of course there are electrical outages as we have our own generators as there are no power lines on this island yet. Our guests and volunteers are told that we turn off our generators for a few hours in the day, meaning no power.

All the other volunteers that we have had, had no problem cleaning their own room. As this is on the volunteers to keep their own sleeping rooms clean we are grown adults and you should be able to clean yourself. It is mentioned in our profile about housekeeping and cleaning. Unfortunately Allana didn't clean but that is not on us.

My best friend and I spend 2 weeks in paradise. Thank you so much for this amazing experience !! Are you hesitate to go?? Just go! The food is amazing, the volunteers room is literally on the beach, the team is so nice, the place is just WONDERFUL. We loved to live the island life for 2weeks. We wished we could have stay longer. We are going to miss you the hotel ♥️

My experience at the hotel was amazing! I had the opportunity to meet local people, eat local food, enjoy the stunning view and help out at the restaurant. I thank the family that hosted me for two weeks and also the manager Shiobra that took care of me and my needs. I'm really grateful!

Where to begin? I had the absolute BEST time at the hotel and I will definitely be back sometime in the future to visit "my second family". That's exactly what these people have become to me - even though I've only been there for a short amount of time. Shiobhra is a great host with a lot of patience and understanding. She's always there if you have questions and communicates schedules and everything in time. As are all the other awesome people working there alongside her. It's a family and people work hand in hand - with you as well. Also the work is good, food is great and room too!

I only got to volunteer at the hotel for 2 weeks, but I could have easily stayed much longer. It is a litteral paradise, the beautiful water and the nature that surrounds it makes it a magical place. The atmosphere at the workplace was always positive with all the staff always willing to help and being friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy life for a bit I'd totally recommend you this experience!

Very laid back off the grid, rustic island vibes with bungalows as accommodation and on the beach! Recommend if you'd enjoy life away from the city! Free delicious food you can order off the restaurant's menu! Work is reasonable (helping hand to the main staff) taking orders and making drinks. Enough time to explore parts of the island and disconnect yourself from the outside world and relax. Also there's luminescent plankton in the water which looks really cool swimming at night!!!
